Covenant Professional Drivers featured in CBS broadcast hosted by Harry Connick, Jr.

Chattanooga, Tennessee (June 22, 2020) – While there has been no shortage of gratitude for the various professionals who have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic, it was nonetheless an honor for two of Covenant’s own professional drivers, Mike and Kim Frazier, to represent the entire trucking and logistics industry in Sunday night’s celebration of essential workers.

The CBS television special, titled “United We Sing: A Grammy Tribute to the Unsung Heroes”, was produced and hosted by celebrity Harry Connick, Jr. of film, television and music fame. The two-hour event included a variety of celebrity appearances, but the main event was a showcase of the journey Mr. Connick, and his daughter, Georgia, took across the country to speak with and thank essential workers in many of the essential industries and businesses that have kept America running -- including professional truck drivers.

As part of his cross-country tour, Mr. Connick stopped in Chattanooga to speak with Covenant husband and wife, team drivers, Mike and Kim Frazier, about life on the road during COVID-19. While the pandemic presented numerous challenges, the Fraziers made it clear that they, like all professional drivers, were honored to do their part to make sure that American families still had food and medical supplies among other necessities.

Having previously served in the military and law enforcement roles, Mike and Kim are the embodiment of self-sacrifice and the guiding principles of Covenant (empathy, servanthood and virtue).

On behalf of the Fraziers and the trucking industry, we are humbled by the love and gratitude shown by Mr. Connick, his team and the country. And rest assured, professional truck drivers will make sure that America keeps rolling, no matter how tough times get.
