CHATTANOOGA, TENN. -- Melody Dunn, senior recruiter for Chattanooga, Tennessee-based Covenant has been named one of three finalists for Transport Topics’ Recruiting Professional of the Year award. The award recognizes recruiting and retention professionals who have excelled in their field.
“With over 20 years of transportation experience, Melody brings a wealth of knowledge to the recruiting profession,” said senior director of recruiting, Matt Duncan. “In 2019, she led the way for our organization in recruiting safe, professional drivers for a multitude of accounts. Her ability to recruit drivers with specific endorsements and living within certain domiciles plays a significant role in our continued success.”
Melody says she’s just doing what comes naturally, treating all recruits like they’re her own family. “I love what I do here at Covenant, and I love helping drivers better their lives by coming here and driving a truck.”

The winner will be announced at the annual Recruitment and Retention Conference held in Nashville, Tenn., February 19-21.
