Sony Names Covenant Transport 2008 Carrier Of The Year

June 2nd, 2009, Covenant was named 2008 Carrier of the Year by Sony. Joey Hogan said of the award, "Service matters It’s more than picking up and delivering on time. It is a state of mind to each individual we come in contact with, whether fellow employees, customers or vendors. It is simply having a servant’s heart."

Shaw Industries Names Covenant Large Company Out-Bound Core Carrier For April 2008 - March 2009

Michael R. Clark, Manager Carrier Compliance with Shaw Industries, recently recognized Covenant Transport as an Out-Bound Core Carrier for April 2008- March 2009. Alcoa Recognizes Covenant As Top Tier 1 Van Carrier For Third Consecutive Year

Alcoa announced the results of its Tier 1 Core Truckload Carrier Awards Program for 2008. The program recognizes a select group of Tier 1 U.S. and Canadian truckload carriers for their outstanding commitment and service to Alcoa during 2008. Covenant Transport, Inc. of Chattanooga, Tennessee won the top award for admirable van service for the third consecutive year.

Covenant Transport Named Carrier Of The Year By Georgia Pacific For Second Year In A Row

By consistently and steadfastly meeting service commitments and time lines, Covenant Transport was named Carrier of the Year by Georgia Pacific at their 2008 Carrier Conference.

A key service provider to all Georgia Pacific businesses, Covenant earned the award by delivering a 98% on-time service performance record. This is the second year in a row that the company has received this award from Georgia Pacific.

Alcoa Honors Covenant Transport For Second Year In A Row

 

Alcoa has announced the results of its Tier 1 Core Truckload Carrier Awards Program for 2007.  Recognized as a leading performer in the Tier 1 group, Covenant Transport won the top award for exemplary van service for the second consecutive year.
Specific qualifications are required to participate as an Alcoa Tier 1 Core Carrier, including providing service to multiple Alcoa businesses, being cost competitive, meeting Alcoa business performance expectations, i.e., pickup, delivery and safety, reconciling loss and damage claims, and transmitting advance shipping notification.  Providing outstanding service on this account in 2007 were the professional Covenant drivers who picked up and delivered for Alcoa, and these dedicated in-house employees: Jody Crowder, Sherry Ramsey, Kevin Campbell and Deidra Chappelear.
