Employment Verification
Covenant processes all employment verification requests electronically. Requests made by phone or fax are not accepted.
Driver Employment Verification Only
To make a DOT request, click here and complete the sign-up form. After you sign up, you will receive an email with a username, password and instructions about how to get started.
For 3rd party vendors: sign up with your corporate name and list which of your clients you are verifying on behalf of (ex. Tenstreet on behalf of Joe’s Trucking). If you do not have DOT # or ICC #, just enter N/A or zeros in those fields.
For current Tenstreet clients: there’s no need to sign up for an account. Either go through Process and Xchange or through the Xchange tab. The request method will automatically default to network (instead of fax, phone, etc.), do not change it.
This is strictly a verification of a driving employee’s employment. No wage or garnishment information is provided on this report. For wage and garnishment information, see the section to the left on Wage Verification.
Corporate & Driving Employee Wage Verification
Wage verifications are processed through Thomas & Company. Visit their website and click the green button ‘Request Employment and Wage Verification’. The requesting party is charged a nominal fee directly for this service.
Inquiries for Wage Verification (Bank/Mortgage, Apartment Complex, other Lending Agencies, etc.)
- Be sure to provide the requester with your company code (listed below) and the employee’s Social Security Number.
- With their request, the inquiring party must provide a signed release from the former/current employee to allow Thomas & Company to provide their information. We will not release any information without a signed release from the individual whose information is being requested.
- Our Verifications Department will respond to the request within 1 to 2 business days. If an urgent request is needed, the requesting party can email our Verifications Department at verifications@thomas-and-company.com or by dialing (615) 620-0569.
If the requesting party is unable to use the web, they may email the Verifications Department at verifications@thomas-and-company.com to submit the request and make alternate payment arrangements. - The requester will be provided with the following information: name, hire date, termination date (if applicable), position type (full or part-time), job position, rate of pay, and year-to-date wage details.

The site will provide the employee’s first day of work, last day of work (if applicable), position type (full or part-time), and job position.
